We're excited to announce our 2019 Grantees!

We're working with four great organizations below to impact our communities for years to come. We'll be formally presenting our grants at the 2019 SABA Conference in Atlanta.

2019 Skills to Succeed Grant

Sakhi. SABA Foundation is excited to announce that Accenture has partnered with us to to award the first annual the Accenture Skills to Succeed Grant to Sakhi for South Asian Women. This grant will support and strengthen their Economic Empowerment Program. Sakhi will use the funds, at least in part, to help people with the skills and tools needed to improve their ability to search for and find rewarding and gainful employment.

2019 General Grants

SALCBC. We're proud to help a relatively new organization with a two-year grant in 2019. The South Asian Legal Clinic Society of British Columbia (SALCBC) is developing the first legal aid clinic in British Columbia focused on low-income South Asians.

SALDEF. We're happy to support the Sikh American Legal Defense and Education Fund, based in DC, with a one-year grant to grow their community engagement, public awareness and advocacy efforts across the country, particularly focusing efforts on rural communities where access to resources is more limited.

GAIN. Foundation is supporting Atlanta's Georgia Asylum and Immigration Network with a one-year grant to create a targeted training and outreach initiative to better equip the Atlanta legal and social service community to help South Asian immigrant survivors of crime.
